He was deemed undesirable by the farmer due to his ears being deformed and his fur not being perfect.
Louie is a gentle boy that is very fearful due to his past.
Louie receives routine deep ear cleanings due to his deformities to prevent yeast build up and possible infections.
He arrived to us on May 3, 2020 and lives with Libby here at the sanctuary.

Jasper was born on a fur farm and deemed undesirable due to his lack of interest in breeding.
He is the oldest fox we have, born in the spring of 2016.
He is a very gentle soul and sadly has neurological issues that need to be monitored by our vet. He also suffers from arthritis due to the long period of time he spent at the fur farm standing on wire.
He receives laser acupuncture and deep tissue massages once a month as part of his ongoing care.
He arrived to us on July 17, 2020 and lives with Penny, Coral and Reef here at the sanctuary.

Reef was born on a fur farm on or around March 28, 2021.
He was able to be rescued when his mother and siblings started to reject him.
Reef is missing toes on his front, right paw and the tip of his tail is missing due to injuries sustained in his short time on the fur farm.
Reef arrived to us on May 6, 2021 and lives with Coral, Jasper and Penny here at the sanctuary.

Coral was born on a fur farm in April of 2021.
Her mother started to reject her and she was able to be pulled off of the fur farm.
Coral has a birth defect where the femoral head never formed,
leaving her femur and her hip unconnected.
Despite this defect, she gets around extremely well and should live a fairly normal life.
Coral arrived to us on July 8, 2021 and lives with Reef, Penny and Jasper at the sanctuary.

Kai was born on a fur farm in the spring of 2022.
His mother and siblings started to reject him and he was able to be pulled off of the fur farm.
Kai is missing half of his tail due to trauma sustained in the short time he was living on the fur farm.
Kai arrived to us on August 11, 2022 and has found a new family with Coral, Reef, Jasper and Penny.
