Louie is a male red fox that was born on a fur farm. He was born in spring of 2018.
He was deemed undesirable by the farmer due to his ears being deformed and his fur not being perfect.
Louie is a gentle boy that is very fearful due to his past.
Louie receives routine deep ear cleanings due to his deformities to prevent yeast build up and possible infections.
He arrived to us on May 3, 2020 and lives with Libby here at the rescue.
Libby is a red fox that was deemed undesirable by a fur farm due to her not having a tail.
She was born in the spring of 2019
She is a very spunky girl with a big personality.
She arrived to us on May 3, 2020 and lives with Louie here at the rescue.
Jasper was born on a fur farm and deemed undesirable due to his lack of interest in breeding.
He is the oldest fox we have, born in the spring of 2016.
He is a very gentle soul and sadly has neurological issues that need to be monitored by our vet. He also suffers from arthritis due to the long period of time he spent at the fur farm standing on wire. He receives laser acupuncture and deep tissue massages once a month as part of his ongoing care.
He arrived to us on July 17, 2020 and lives with Penny here at the rescue.
Penny was born on a fur farm and deemed undesirable due to her lack of interest in breeding on the farm.
She was born in the spring of 2018.
Penny is a very sweet little girl who enjoys having her tail pet and occasionally her neck scratched.She arrived to us on July 17, 2020 and lives with Jasper here at the rescue.
Reef was born on a fur farm on or around March 28, 2021. He was able to be rescued when his mother and siblings started to reject him. Reef is missing toes on his front, right paw and the tip of his tail is missing due to injuries sustained in his short time on the fur farm.
Reef arrived to us on May 6, 2021 and he and Coral are roommates.
Coral was born on a fur farm in April of 2021.
Her mother started to reject her and she was able to be pulled off of the fur farm.
Coral has a birth defect where the femoral head never formed,
leaving her femur and her hip unconnected. Despite this defect, she gets around rather well and should live a fairly normal life although she will need ongoing care for this which will include physical therapy and laser acupuncture.
Coral arrived to us on July 8, 2021 and she and Reef are roommates.
